In my practice I see women who are presented with life transitions that in most cases they have not planned for, mostly because there was no way to plan for them. Symptoms such as depression and anxiety during pregnancy, depression, anxiety and OCD symptoms after the birth or adoption of a child, infertility, pregnancy and or infant loss are all staggering life experiences that unfortunately do not come with a manual on how to navigate. I have a working knowledge of each of these really difficult challenges and am available to assist you find ways to better cope with this time. Often each of these experiences will go untreated due to lack of education, lack of support or shame and guilt for having the feelings and symptoms in the first place. The most important thing to know is that support, education and treatment is available. My goal is to meet you where you are at, assess your strengths, identify current deficits in your circle of support and help you develop strategies for better coping. Most women call with common complaints, the most common is "I just don't feel myself anymore." My goal is to get you back to feeling like yourself again.

I am well aware that asking for help is a really difficult thing to do but I also know that there is a sense of relief once you make that first call to get moving in a different direction.
