Insurance Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. I am contracted with BCBS PPO, Aetna PPO, Cigna PPO and many Employee Assistance Programs including Magellan, Employee Resource Systems, andHorizon Health.
It is helpful to know what your plan will cover upfront before you attend your first session. The back of most insurance cards will have a toll free number to call to obtain benefit information. Below you will find a list of questions that are good to ask when you contact your plan for a quote of benefits.
Do I have mental health insurance benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
Reduced Fee Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis.
Payment Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment.
Cancellation Policy I prioritize the time we schedule for your therapy and ask that you do as well. Missed scheduled therapy appointments without notification to my practice at least 24 hours in advance will result in a charge for the full cost of your session. There are certainly times when notification of 24 hours is impossible and we can discuss your specific situation if it should arise. It is important to note, insurance plans will not cover missed appointments. Appointment cancellation may be done via telephone or email.
